Academics: Padron is a 2017 Doctor of Public Health Candidate. Her subject matter expertise leverages community public mental health of individuals living with a schizophrenic spectrum disorder and major depression in urban locales in “A Study of the Relationship between Physical Health and Quality of Life of Adults Living with Schizophrenia Spectrum Disorders and/or Depression Receiving US Public Community Mental Health Services.”

It is a secondary data analysis of randomized controlled University of Pennsylvania (Salzer, M., 2004) studies. Jen graduated with honors during graduate and undergraduate studies at the University of Texas at Austin and the University of Washington in Seattle.

Jennifer is a trained Wellness Recovery Action Plan ® Facilitator, State of Georgia, Maryland and Texas Certified Peer Specialist and Community Health Worker Promotora. She has received foundational training in  Intentional Peer Support, eMotional CPR, advanced peer services | supports, Trauma Informed Peer Supports for Social Change and Trauma Healing, mobile crisis interventionist specializing in experienced psychosis and de-escalation.  She is a national Whole Health Action Management ® Health Coach and Facilitator (Georgia Mental Health Consumer Network, State of Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities, National Council for Behavioral Health).
